How to change (text) on contact labels (mobile) (mobile home) etc?
 

I want to change text on contact lables, is there any way to do this?
for example "mobile home" i want to change it by "airtel"

well i am not an expert but i think it is not pssible!i may be wrong

we can not change the booton which is there in by defult but.......

i think we can add another feild or lable with our own text but i don't no how to this! better to wait for more answers!

i keep checking to see if someones answered this yet!
as id like to change all the text on my phone to something more personal,
i think its a case of finding the source code, editing it, compiling it, then transferring the new executable file to the phone?
but not really that sure, and would'nt know how to do any of that anyway!

i thnik new lable or field can be added , i have seen many new lables after installing the pidgin conversation like QQ ,yahoo, jabber etc.

This has been discussed a few times in obscurely titled threads - problems with not easily knowing the originating number for contacts with multiple entries.

In short, it's not possible.

I disagree, Google Voice plugin creates a new label, i think it can be done, just not enough interest to make it happen.

i know this can be done (when pidgin can do this why can not we do),, only we need some xpert to make it possible.

Can you provide a screenshot where google voice or pidgin puts a
new label on the phone or mobile phone button.
