ssh to maemo as user instead of root
Hi!!
I would like to know whether is possible to connect directly to the user account in the device. Which is its default pass? At the moment I have seen how to do it to the root one, and I guess i could do it to the user one indirectly by tunneling, but I would like to know how (or what is the default pass) for doing ssh user@n900ip Thanks in advance!! (By the way, it is my first post, I have the phone a coupple of days and i am enjoying a lot, also I like this kind of community tools (in fact, is one of the things the lead me to this device beside the "debian compatibility" (i've been a debian user for too much time ;)) P.D.: I have put this in General, as probably is related with user pass, but i didn't know if it suits better in software (as openssh-server related topic) |
Re: ssh to maemo as user instead of root
You'll have to unlock the account and set a password for it.
In a root terminal: Code:
passwd -u user |
