can i continue updating ??

hey people .
i know my thread's title is strange . but it is my question .
my sim card is repaid . so when ever i want to connect to the internet or i want to call i have to charge it and by the way it expensive here .

so i am asking if i can download the meamo update within many times . couz i cant trust my airtime . it might finish at anytime and it disconnects .
so if i got disconnected from the internet will i be able to compleate the installation from where the connection stoped ?? or is there is any other way to instally the update without using the app manager ??

Beside the cost a bad connection is no show-stopper for the installation or update of applications.
You better download all of the packages from the command line with the -d option to save some time, because Hildon Application Manager is slow, really slow.
Code:

sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade -dy ....

will download all of the upgradable packages, applications and libs, to /var/cache/apt/archives. Later, when downloading finished and offline, you could finish the update with [code]apt-get upgrade/code]
But be warned to update with extras-testing or extras-devel repositories enabled. This would be highly experimental.

Re: can i continue updating ??

yes, they are. Actually busybox is a stripped down linux shell, meaning not all the options for each command are supported.
