gkrellm on N900
 

hello all, i'm new, a lil' bit shy face to such a so active and nice community mameo is.
I was just wondering if gkrellm this is possible on N900 ?

I posted some screen shots a couple of months back with gkrellm running on the N900 - I may well have even posted a deb, though don't quote me on that, seems like a year ago now : )

Gkrellm does work, but it pegs your CPU at near on 100% so a lot of optimizations are needed to make it useful for Maemo - it compiles straight up in scratchbox, it just doesn't run very well.

hello dchky, thanks for the information.
i was thinking how is cpu behaviour when you do
gkrellm -s host-running the gkrellmd from N900 (the gkrellm daemon on unix boxes) wifi-connected.

have you tried this ?
