Can some one of the geeky guys compile this for N900

Its mangler for Deb.

it would be easy, but am no good with linux.

Hmm...you're not geeky but you bought a N900--shaaaaame!!! :P

On a more serious note: compiles for Debian (which Fremantle is based on) and Android (which is for ARM by definition), so I don't think it should be that hard. Why don't you download Scratchbox and have a whirl?

I don't know how to turn in into deb easily, so read instructions at website:

Download http://www.mangler.org/downloads/mangler-1.2.1.tar.gz to N900
Extract it (Filebox is helpful)
Go to the folder mangler-1.2.1 (it appeared after extraction)
Open X Terminal in this folder (Filebox has such button in tools)
Run in X Terminal in this folder as root:
./configure
make
make install
ldconfig

I hope that while you run make and make install, it will say where it put desktop file, binaries, etc, so that you could move them to proper locations (it doesn't know that desktop file should be in /usr/share/applications/hildon/, does it?)

When you get it to work, you will be able to pack it into a deb.

And: you will need some tools, like make, g++, etc to compile it from source. But it's not a large problem...

Even the mangler guys say you should use mumble instead, and we have that already for the N900. Also, Skype works really well for gaming, I use it on Game Night with the guys...
