n900 modem drivers
 

is there a way i can get the modem drivers and put them on the n900 so if i want to connect to the internet on another persons laptop i can install the drivers without installing pc/ovi suite??

Hmm, I could think another way.

Install either mobilehotspot or joikuspot.

And you would be able to access internet thru someone else's laptop.

Laptop (Wifi) --> N900 (Hotspot Wifi) ---> N900 3G/Edge to internet

No cables required :-)

i was looking for a cabled setup

found a solution tho
unrared the ovi suite and kept searching and unraring exe files until i found the cable connectivity.exe and that works a charm
