Sad part is, it fit four rows of keys. (I'm not one to complain about the N900 keyboard, I think it's okay as is, at least given that you can remap it to get a fourth character for each key, but really it would've been nice to have extra keys.)

iPhone 4 + Keyboard + Jailbreaking = poor attempt at being an N900

Actually, I think this is a very smart idea and wish Nokia would do something like this with their next phone. If you need the keyboard you take it with you, if not, you don't. That allows for smaller phones and/or bigger batteries.

Well, this is hardly an official Apple product. It's a keyboard (hardly an N900 invention), filling a need for iphone owners that prefer a physical keyboard.

I'm with Radu, I think that this is a good idea. I like the idea of device modularity. I tiny but well planned mounting hole (or two) could open a device to very useful modifications.

It is a chinese copy of Iphone. They have recently launched a 64gb iphone 4.

I don't even think it's connected directly to the phone. Not physically anyway.

It's definitely a case (as suggested by the article's title) with a Bluetooth keypad attached. If you look closely at the screen you can see he's got his BT enabled. The micro-USB on the actual keyboard suggests a charging point.

My mistake! I thought it was that keyboard case.

I think you'll find it's a genuine iPhone 4 in there.

It's a case made by BoxWave with as I suspected, a Bluetooth keyboard.
