N900 Refalsh problem
 

Hi there
i've got n900 and while installing software from internet the battery goes dead and the process of istalling is intruppted. now when I turn it on it stops in white sceen in 5% udating with this note "installing software updater please do not interupt"
now I can't reflash if because the computer dosn't recognize if when I connect it via usb wire.
How do I reflash it?

what exactly were u installing and from where?

are you sure you want to reflash?

if so, power off device then hold 'u' on the keyboard then plug in the usb cable (keep your finger on 'u')and it will go into flashing mode

it was "nokia data updater" from update list, internet software section

computer does not recognize usb cable or cellphone

You have to have flasher 3.5 installed, the rootfs image .bin and if necessary the eMMC image .bin downloaded.

Tell flasher to flash, it'll say no device found, waiting.

Connect the phone via USB while holding the U key.

Flasher will detect it, flash it and say done, the phone should then boot automatically.
Leave it to boot. Unplug and you're away.
