Problem with fMMS on Telenor Norway
 

Hey! Ive just reflashed my n900 and a small problem has arised:

My fMMS doesnt work. I tried using the settings Ive found during the last 6 hours of googleing this problem.

settings in fmms:

access point name: MMS
MMSC: http://mmsc
user name: Std
password: mms
HTTP Proxy: 10.10.10.11

access point name: telenor mms
MMSC: http://mmsc
user name: dj
password: dj
HTTP Proxy: 10.10.10.11

Ive tried countless variations of the two, even using fAPN to create new apn which did nothing.

It basically says "operation failed. (104, connection reset by peer.) check your settings."

Settings beside that: image size set to small, mode set to Havoc.

Anyone have a clue as to how I can fix this?


EDIT: My provider is Talkmore, but they use Telenor settings as its a daughtercompany, IIRC. Ive used fmms to great success before the reflash.

Make sure your setting are like in here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Mms#Telenor_2. And as far as I know fAPN hasn't been needed by fMMS for ages so you don't need it.

nowhere to put this in fMMS settings.

* Connection Type: Packet Data

same as above.

* Access Point Name: MMS

OK, done.

* User Name: Std

OK, done.

* Password: mms

Done.

* Use Proxy: Yes

This field I dont see.

* HTTP Proxy: 10.10.10.11

This is also done.

* Port Number: 8080

Where do I put this?

* MMSC: http://mmsc/

Done.

* Resize Image: Medium (320) / it also works with 1000

I put it on Small.

* Your Phone Number: +47(Your Phone Number)

I have no idea where this goes at all.

* Web adress for automatic configuration: http://mmsc/

What is this for?
