[Request] SIP Client for N900
 

Yes I know that there N900 has a built in SIP Client but in many countries such as Dubai, UAE, China some countries in Asia - It's blocked which means that we cant use the built in Sip Client. I've done alot of research and only softwares such as Fring/softfone seem to be working. This is because fring has it's own servers and the calls gets connected through their servers which isnt blocked by the ISP.

I did find Fring in the extras-devel but it seems to be crashing when some one tries to call me. It doesn't ring, doesn't show any thing. It will disconnect and crash.
I'm not that intelligent in developing maybe some one is willing to help me and many other people who are looking for this app. :D :D :D

I have already requested such sip client such as mobilevoip which is available for android and iPhone but here no body is interested so i think its a waste of time to expect such things from here

hmm i dont know why many developers arent interested :(
i think lack of internet calling? some one should be able to help

im not saying start from scratch. maybe fring in extras devel could be improved...

Blocked, as in the software feature is disabled?

Have you tried running the global firmware (either by flashing the global firmware, or cross-grading to it with apt-get)?
