|
Re: Help my media player is gone !
what do you mean with gone???
|
Re: Help my media player is gone !
then try to re-install mafw equalizer
|
Re: Help my media player is gone !
There is no package mafw-equalizer! What did you deinstall???
Try to install the maemo meta-package, it should depend on the mediaplayer and therefore pull it in. Code:
sudo gainroot |
Re: Help my media player is gone !
Well if mediaplayer did depend on mafw-equalizer it is for sure gone if you purge mafw-equalizer.
you need to find the mediaplayer package name or install a package which defines media-player as dependency, therefore the try with the fremantle meta package. |
Re: Help my media player is gone !
This post is almost one year old, there was at least one major update since then!!! Did neither dpkg nor apt-get warn you to proceed? Here is my output, pick up the names and reinstall them
Code:
apt-get -s purge mafw-gst-renderer |
Re: Help my media player is gone !
I did simulate to deinstall the package, so apt-get notifies me what will get removed. These are the names of the packages you want to install!
Code:
sudo gainroot |
Re: Help my media player is gone !
Sorry, but 'also can't' is no error message to work with, please paste the output of the above commands.
