FakeAP for Nokia 770
Hey,
Anyone know if it is possible to run the fake access point perl file on the 770? Its been a while since I have messed with stuff like this on it... Couldn't tell if it would support this particular type of pl file, and if it would support the current built in wireless drivers... Many thanks in advance! Edit, I got it to partially run, but it throws me this error: Code:
set failed on device wlan0 ; no such device Any help would be great! |
Re: FakeAP for Nokia 770
I got around that message by entering
ifconfig wlan0 up Before trying any iwconfig commands. |
Re: FakeAP for Nokia 770
I found and hacked at that script for a while until I got Kismet on another machine to see loads of random ad-hoc networks. There seems to be no way to get the 770's cx3110x conexant chip into master mode, not without some other (nonexistent) drivers, however changing the MAC, SSID, TX power, could all be done easily.
This looked really promising though: http://rfakeap.tuxfamily.org/ Quote:
