Google maps on a browser
Hello,
Is there any browser in Maemo 5 that could browse and function well on maps.google.com ? Preferably, on Maemo 5, chroot linux solutions are acceptable too. I am looking an option that doesnt require to switch to Nitdroid. Thanks. |
Re: Google maps on a browser
It will be soon here www.flaemo.com, optimized just for N900 and touch screen. I'd like to know really about demand of stuff like that (especially web based) to prioritize my tasks.

Re: Google maps on a browser
Are you aware of GeePS? Not in a browser, but google maps with routing etc. Excellent app.

Re: Google maps on a browser
try these apps from the repos ( maybe extras-devel) :
GeePS Google Latitude or try http://www.google.com/maps/m |
Re: Google maps on a browser
How do you zoom in/out using http://www.google.com/maps/m in microb?

Re: Google maps on a browser
How do you search a single point in GeePS? Whenever I use local search option from the menu, it wants to calculate directions which I just want to browse around a particular point.
