Seems to me its a widget, but I cannot find it once installed??

I know Mobile Vikings as a mobile internet provider in Belgium (cheapest with great support), maybe it allows you to quickly see stats...

Going to install this to find out :)
(since I'm a mobile vikings customer)

asks for a username/password but doesn't seem to do anything with it...

According to this tweet it is indeed an applet for the Belgian mobile provider I mentioned.

Still, it isn't working for me :/

Yep that's right, it's indeed a widget to check your balance on Mobile Vikings, a Belgian GSM/3G mobile operator.
I put it online so I could let someone I know test it before really announcing it to people, but unfortunately he encountered the same problem as f2thak: not being able to see the widget at all. I presume it's a missing dependency, and I was going to look into that over the weekend :)

That it asks a password and username but doesn't do anything with it, that shouldn't happen either: what happens if you just click again on the widget?

In any case, I'll update the description of the package too so that it's clear for everyone what Mobile Vikings is :)

Well, the widget says "No User Info!"

if I click on it, I get a popup that asks my account settings. Both fields are empty, and whatever I fill in, or what buttons I press (OK/Cancel), the popup stays. It only goes away if I click above the popup.
And it doesn't pick up any info....

Ok I just uploaded 0.0.1-3, which *should* fix both issues :) Could you check if these fix the issues for you?

The messagebox now works, but it says it had a problem getting data off Mobile Vikings (widget displays "Couldn't get data")

I tripple-checked username/password, it is the same I use on the MV website. Even changed it to a simpler version - no go :/

btw, the input boxes automatically capitalize the first letter...

Anything else I should try?

Rebooted my n900 and now it is working!

Looks like something changed in the protocol or so?
