Unable to access Nokia repositories from Tmobile USA (was Official Nokia repositories down?)
 

Wondering if anyone else can install apps from the "official" Nokia repositories:

Nokia Applications
Nokia System Software Updates
Ovi

In my app manager, these three have the exclamation marks by them and "failed to refresh". The maemo.org one (extras) works fine. In the log for these three, I get:

Failed to fetch https://blahblah: Proxy CONNECT aborted

Discovered this when trying to install the DocsToGo Viewer and it failed to download. Are these repositories still up?

pretty sure that is your problem... the app manager does not work through some proxies.
if your APN has a proxy setting, disable it. or just use wifi.

Connected with the Tmobile (USA) internet2.voicestream.com APN. Will try later from wifi to collect the error message, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't work either (tried last night). Good to know they're still working and up though and it's just a problem on my device.

Connected to known-open wifi....working properly now. Edited title to reflect my experience here for future searchers. I have not tried disabling the proxy so I have no conclusion on that (did not need to/solved by using wifi).

I can confirm that refreshing the repos using the internet2. voicestream APN works for me today.
