n800 Media Control Device???
Would it be possible to control media players on my computer(changr tracks/change playlists/volume up/down, etc.)??? I'm laying here in my bed and i have a remote to control my computer's audio but this wou;d be most ideal if i could somehow control the media player (winamp in this case). And if not how about an add-on device wvere i can do the such.
If i could this n800 would satisfy me on a whole new level!!! |

Re: n800 Media Control Device???
Canola and Orb together work well together to allow. Orb allows you to specify files on you windows box with access throgh a web based interface. If you really want to get fancy you can use Canola as your access portal. It looks and feels much better than the Orb web page. I was at my brothers place about 3 hours away from my house and was playing music files from my home pc through Canola into his home theater. Pretty cool.

There are lots of apps that do what you want to do. They're all basically a web front-end for your media player. You can use them to control music playback from any browser on your network. In your case, there's a Winamp plugin:
