Broken USB and phone dead even if battery externally charged
 

I've had the dreaded USB port coming loose off the motherboard problem, but also seem to have a dead phone. I tried to charge the battery in another phone, and my phone still wont power on.

So seems like something else was damaged when the USB port broke off.

Anyone else had this happen?
