Default web browser stops responding while connecting
 

Hey guys, just bought my n900, very happy with it.

There's just one thing that bothers me, the default web browser isn't working anymore. After typing the url or clicking a bookmark it loops forever. I think it's trying to connect or something. I used Firefox mobile to post this...
What do I do to fix this? How can I help you guys to figure out the problem?

It does this sometimes. Try "killall browserd" in the terminal, browserd is the background browser service, it will reload your open pages when it restarts, sometimes you might need to close your open browser windows before doing this to get it working again.

I don't know why it gets like this, or if there is proper solution/

I second @retsaw solution. Happens sometimes and solves it for me. So this seems like proper solution ;-)

Thanks, that did the job. It's a proper workaround, let's hope it will be fixed soon...
