Need help with Easy Debian + GIMP
 

I have installed Easy Debian and also the image. I can run synaptic manager, open office and LXDE. But I cant find GIMP in the application list althought its installed because I can run it on LXDE. How do I get the shortcut icon to GIMP?

you want a icon on maemo menu or in the easy debian application menu ?

For the icon in maemo's menu download the attachement (remove the txt extension, the file name is only gimp.desktop) and put it in /usr/share/applications/hildon
and in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/hildon put an gimp's icon in 48x48 png named gimp.png

Also, how can I put maemo apps shortcuts in easy debian?

i think is not possible but i'm not totally sure

easy debian is chrooted into maemo, but maemo isn't crhooted into easy debian :D
