Qt fork: ktk

Some developers of the kde image editor krita outlined a plan for a Qt fork: http://krita.org/component/content/article/10-news/69-we'll-do-it.
Since they can't use the name "Qt", several alternatives were discussed. They've finally choosen ktk for "krita toolkit".

While the plan helps to assure the future of qt and kde, it does not bring many new ideas. Nevertheless, some kde parts will be integrated, following some of the propositions found here: http://community.kde.org/KDE_Core/Modularization.

That link doesn't seem to bring up the correct article, and in fact I cannot find that article on their site. Have they deleted the article/dropped the plan?
