How do I reflash the Nokia N810? Also, how do I update the Nokia N810 system?

I need an binary file to flash my N810 too... I cant download it from
ordinary way, because my N810 kinda newer been build :D. Wlan ID never been bublishd to nokia.
"PROTO" so Can someone please help me?

Torrent or something? There are 1 torrent, but no1 seeding it after about 2007 :p

edit: In linux i ended with "To flash the bootloader, you have to supply the X-Loader image"

No idea, sorry, that was the latest update from Nokia. Are you sure your n810 is the normal one and not the wimax edition?

Really dont know

And now i maybe messed it up. Not booting anymore, only NOKIA logo comes when power up. Still can enter the flashing mode and do something with flasher 3.5 and nokia updater expect that it says that firmware u uploaded wont fit.

Maybe i have new kitchen cutting board :D

I go tomorrow to local nokia care repairing shop to ask if this still can breathe.

Hey, I didn't upload it, that's straight from nokia, just bypassing the mac verification stage.
Anyways, here's the link for the wimax edition firmware.
Where did you get your n810? Maybe it's a preproduction unit, some of those were distributed to some developers, and, IIRC, they had similar problems upgrading the firmware, though I don't remember all the details.

yah i noticed that u didn´t upload anytihing i just was too lazy to fix my post... ok il try that... On nokia service care they dont do protos at all. so this may be last change to make that come alive.

I dont mind if my N810 is dead. New phones are kinda better these days. Thanks anyway...:o
