drivers problem N900
 

Hi

I am having a problem in installing drivers for nokia N900
As in my case when ever i plug N900 to my PC using USB cable and then select PC suite mode.So in principle the driver for N900 should install itself automatically. However, my PC does not detect driver . As i get this messege "device driver software was not installed succssfully" whenever i plug my nokia N900. How can i resolve this issue or alternate from where i can get Nokia N900 driver ?

If you just want to move files on and off the N900, you should select Mass Storage mode. After selecting it the phone should install just fine.

No i donot just want to use it only for moving file as i want to use QT tools for programming purpose thats way i select PC suite mode and i get this messege "device driver software was not installed succssfully"

Have you tried to install PC Suite (or OVI Suite) then? I think it includes the drivers.

yes i also installed tried with PC suite. I am completely following the step 4 (Set up the connection, mentioned on this website http://fcam.garage.maemo.org/gettingStarted.html) , as i am using windows 7 so i first install (PC Suite compatible with N900) and when i plug Nokia 900 in to my laptop i get this messege

"Mass storage contoller No driver found"

As in principle, it should install automatically driver itself and there should be a new entry "local area connection" entry, But due to driver problem i am not able to see this entry.

problem is reloved. As i need to change settings in the Mad developer
