Make version
 

Couple of questions, if someone would be so kind as to help me out I'm new to maemo. First of is there a version of make that's newer than version 3.80? And second is there a build-essential package?

3.80 seems to be the latest make. In general you can search http://maemo.org/packages/ if you're looking for a particular package.
