trackerd eating my cpu :( any help ?

from yesterday i have a new thing than called trackerd or some time tracker-indexer and eat my N900 cpu and darin battery and device is warm :(

cpu usage is 100% :(

how can solve this problem ?

Do a reboot & see if it works..If not go to X-terminal and under root type killall trackerd.

This should fix it...let us know what ur results are...

yes when i type killall trackerd cpu usage goes 10% or 15%

but when i restart device problem again and trackerd eat cpu and cpu usage 100% :(

I think you might have to delete the database since that seems to be corrupted hence the high CPU usage.

Read the link by windows7.U should find ur answer there...

Tracker CPU utilization goes up after a reboot. That is normal. It is just doing what it supposed to do, indexing your media. Give it 5 or 10 minutes and it should stop by itself. If it doesn't, then you have a problem.

yes trackerd stop by itself after 5 min :) and cpu goes 10 or 15 %

but after reset i should wait 5min until cpu back to normal

is it a problem ?
