cant install scratchbox

I just (its actually hours ago) set up an Ubuntu 10.10 64bit System on VirtualBox ....
Now I try for hours to install scratchbox because I want to do some newbe-tests with my n800 (OS2008 - Diablo)

(Actually I want to compile evrouter for it)

Which is the easiest way to do so?

Thanks for your help - and off course I know I could find thousands of ideas using the search funtion - but this is exactly the problem: I have no idea where to start ...

So please help me...

http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...K_Installation

and since you have 64bit version of ubuntu, check out http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...-based_systems

and Limitations you'll probably run on...

Re: cant install scratchbox

thanks for the quick answer.

Your linked to "Maemo 5 SDK". I thought I need Maemo 4 SDK, since I have got a N800 with Diablo on it. Am I wrong?

The newest version of scratchbox doesn't seem to have problems with VDSO32-Support enabled. Right? Is it possible to install the newest scratchbox-version PLUS Maemo4-devkit and stuff?

what would you suggest?

Yes, I used the maemo5 scratchbox installation instructions, and later
I installed the maemo4 target and was able to build and upload
packages for the diablo extras repository.
(connectagram and mgcal)

ok, so I'll try this, when I'm at home!

By the way:
Will it be hard to compile evrouter for Maemo4?
