Secure sites no longer work
 

N770 with OS2007HE

Having problems logging into secure sites, like https://mail.google.com. Can't log onto bank sites either.

Google, Skype, Gizmo5 work.

Ideas?

Check the time and date on your 770, date problems cause most of https/SSL errors.

Ha, yeah... (embarrassed) just noticed that my N770 was a month off... Gmail works now... though still having problems with bank sites...

It's been a long time since I've used my N770... about to set off on a trip and don't want to lug a netbook...

maybe they use newer certificates.
