Possibility of hacking the "Get Started" bar???
 

Just an idea idea that came to me last night after getting a bit of a ribbing for having the "Noob bar" on my desktop after postig some screenies on the Nokia forum.

Would it be possible to hack the "Get Started" bar?
To either use it for somthing else or even a dock bar.

You misunderstand mate. Not sure what you mean by the "n00b bar" on your desktop - so whack up a screenie and give us an indication of what the "n00b bar" actually is!

OP: I'm not certain what you mean. To my knowledge, it's just a shiny-looking launcher, no different than any other, really. I think it's probably closed-source anyhow.

Well, what I was wondering is if it could be used to launch something else, rather than the tutorial video. And maybe replace the icon with....say a Firefox icon if it's used to launch the browser.

As there is a flash file ( Final_V5.swf ) in the tutorial directory
(/usr/share/tutorial-applet), I think you can replace this
flashfile with another one and see what happens :-)
