# On the 12/11/2011 Warning! Use this patch at Your Own Risk! What does it do exactly? It makes the volume on the N900 slightly louder for the following: 1) Headphones 2) Speakers 3) Calls (phone call volume) 4) tv out But only when using the Hardware volume keys! What does each Script do? AudioBoost.sh: Enchances audio Quality. RemoveBoost.sh: Removes the AudioBoost. Instructions: 1) Extract the folder unto the n900. Go to FileBox and make sure you have the Enable Root Option Selected. 2) Navigate to the AudioBooster folder using filebox. 3) Choose the "Open terminal here" option. 4) To use AudioBoost.sh type in this command in xterm: sh AudioBoost.sh 5) To Remove AudioBoost.sh type in: sh RemoveBoost.sh Many Thanks to Chrome & Mart5.1 for their help.... |

Plz note that is different from my BoostN900 patch. Unlike the BoostN900 patch, this one has nothing to do with making battery life & responsiveness better.....or even reducing pulse audio cpu load for that matter.
All it does is make audio quality "better." Infact, If are using my old BoostN900 scripts then I recommend you remove it before using this script audio script. |
