Sygic and broken n900
 

Sorry for bad english! I'm a proud owner of a nokia n900 and last night i manage to brake it with Sygic. I have launch the install process and crashed (switched off and on) the instalation process didn't finish. Icon showing a blue square and not launching! No problem there. Launched filebox and x term and cannot delete the Res folder (with root access enabled). Linket to PC via USB and searched for the file....surprise....the folder is there, inside the voice folder and inside that there are a lot of other folders and files with weird simbols and can't delete! For the files the error is "file not found" and then "folder could not be deleted ". I couldn't take a screen shot and now any pictrure i try to delete i can't! PLS help urgent. My guess would be it corrupted the partition. You need to umount /home/user/Mydocs and then fsck it.

Thats just what it sounds like anyway.

i think it should be deleted via pc(usb cable) if not..ok no problem try to replace all the folders you want to delete and then delete them.

I have reinstalled the firmware and set windows 7 x84 to try and repare the device after i posted this and now is telling me the files are read only and can't delete copy or replace (music,pictures,video,text) and Ctrl+shift+P not working so far! I'll keep you posted with my findings and thanks for reply! N900 the best POKET PC :P
