Here's a dumb question...

Is there anyway I can check into certain places on Facebook with my N900 like my buddies do on their iPhones and Android devices?

yep, use eff or effing for n900. Am not posting link as dont have it to hand sorry (nearly 3am lol), just do a quick search. I use it and its pretty effective, or use facebook touch site

Unfortunately, it doesn't work anywhere with MicroB. You need to download and install Firefox 4 Beta (up to Beta 5 or 6, should be released soon), then go to touch.facebook.com and check-in.

as previous poster suggested, you could also use Effing, I prefer the touch website personally.

SOLUTION!

ZapLoc app. is able to make "check in" on Facebook and Tweeter. Tested with my N900. :cool:

you can post "facebook places" and "foursquare places" (you must make an account to forsquare, is worth the effort)

google latitude is nice too .
