I have a smartphone and a laptop, is the N800 still useful?

Is there anything fun I can do with my N800 that makes it worthwhile to keep around? I "inherited" this from a relative a couple years ago when she upgraded to an ipod touch. I played around with it for a little bit and then jumped aboard the Android smartphone bandwagon. I'm cleaning out some old clutter and came across it. I've been searching for neat hacks and such that make it worthwhile to keep, 'cause I like the little bugger, but I haven't found anything to justify it.

FYI, I'm not really much of a hacker myself. I can follow instructions and I understand the basics, but I'm really not up to serious unguided hacking.

I use my N800 as an alarm clock / chumby.

Try the Theremin app (musical instrument), Rockbox (media player), or if you're in the mood for an adventure, try Easy Debian - it lets you run Linux desktop apps from the Debian repositories on it. I particularly like Linux Multimedia Studio and The GIMP. With a little adapter, you can even use a USB keyboard, mouse, thumb drive, webcam or whatever in Host mode. I'd love to have a spare N800, so if you happen to get bored of it, let me know :P Otherwise, I'm more than happy to share some "hacks" - there's tons of stuff you can do with it. I like to say it's still better than an iPod Touch hardware-wise - when it comes to software, sometimes you have to be creative... IcedRobot, QEMU, Wine, DOSBox, etc. greatly expand the software library.

Karstan...
Buddy i still have Nokia 7710 since 2005 & its still in good condition... and its just a 168 MHz device with less then 25mb of ram... And not that very Software's Available for it (Because it was First and Last of its kind)... Just because NOKIA decided to End Series-90 @ its Beginning only... and @ that time there was no such thing like CSSU to develop it Further... "we should be thankful to CSSU Guy's"
But i love its Fm,music-output,video playback(20fps Xvid ws a big deal back then),its 1.3Mp cam... & its the same way i feel about my N900...

the point is they are just reasons... Cuz i just love it... & i believe same goes with life too "if we like something or someone we just find(or make) Reasons to Love it"...

Whats your reason ?

Other forum resources (note that many of the items for the N810 would apply to the N800 as well):
