Nokia AD-54 Problem
 
Greetings,

Just got my Nokia AD-54 from ebay. Before I have ordered it, I checked some forum posts and I realized that just the buttons dont work, the adapter actually works.

But I was wrong, the device doesn't even recognize the device, I mean it doesn't show the headphone's icon and it plays the music on loudspeakers.

Any solution to this?

Should work fine as a pair of headphones, and basic headset.
Have you access to a conventional Nokia phone to test it with?
I had one for a while but moved to a Nokia BH214 as I wanted the media control.

Also does the headset that came with your N900 work and get detected as headset?
