AT&T User here: Will Merger w/ TMobile get 3g access to their frequency? (Adding additional frequency band?)
 

Does anyone know if AT&T will just be adding the other frequency bands that T-Mobile has to theirs? This would enable me to finally have 3g on the N900. Love the N900, hate the SLOW EDGE internet :(

There have been many threads already. AT&T plans to use the T-Mobile 3G bands for LTE instead, meaning everyone with a T-Mobile 3G phone will no longer have 3G once that happens. Re-sale value of our N900 will plummet (if it hasn't already).
