Is Fullscreen Vim possible on the n900
 
That is, can you maximize xterm so that you get a nice black screen, like on the n810? I ask because this is... oddly enough .... probably one of the most important factors influencing my purchase decision :-/

You can modify the xterm keybar here to go fullscreen

You can install xbindkeys here to nix the status bar in any app, I used shift space instead.
