Xournal Installaation and Lib files
 

Hello,

I am one of the many who have become new owners of a 770. So far everything has gone well. I have installed several programs, but for some reason I can't get Xournal to install.

First it said I needed libglade

Now it says:

libfontconfig1>2.4.1
libfreetype6>2.4.1
libfontdonfig1>2.4.1

I have downloaded these dependencies several times from different places and keep getting the message that they are not compatible with my device. I have searched this forum using Xournal and lib as strings since last night and continued early this morning until now. I have gone through all the answers given here and still no luck. I am at wits end :confused: . I should have know my luck would run out after I got it to play movies, chat, VOIP, and even added radio stations. All went great first time around. I know the answer is probably obvious, but I would really appreciate it, if I could get a walk through on this program.
I am not a Linux person, but I catch on quick. Thanks in Advance!

Problem solved. Downloaded and used the patch. The first time I searched the forum I missed it. Now that I have read the majority of the past threads, my IT problems are diminishing rapidly.
