n900 as modem, high ping with cable ?
 

Im using my n900 very often as 3g modem. Im using mobile hotspot app and my ping is very good for 3g modem 80-200ms. It should be better with usb cable because wlan isnt affecting between connection. Or should it ? Im using pc suite to connect n900 with usb and then connect OTA. With usb + pc suite my ping is every time over 300ms. Why is that ? With my thinking it should be lower with usb than over wlan ? Any ideas ?

what u pinging to?
and also when connecting via usb keep net disconnected in your n900
for me thats sometimes the problem

www.speedtest.net and www.pingtest.net. I havent tried net disconnected

edit: i tried pc suite with n900 internet off and seems it helped. In first go i got 240ms and 2 other tries i got 60ms
