Need help: All my contacts from n900 dissapeared
 

Hello!

Id need some help with this. Today, all of my bookmarks dissapeared, so i ran the latest backup i made, to renew only bookmarks. After closing all the windows and successfully restoring the bookmarks everything was back to normal and working proprely...but all of my 500+ contacts were gone!all the mobile numbers, stationary numbers, mail adresses, skype and msn contacts, avatars were gone in a second.

so, firstly, i used a bit older backup and again restored bookmarks, hoping that the problem was there. but it wasnt.

ive read and tried steps from here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Manual_backup_and_restore

and all i get in return form x terminal while typing

is:

/home/user/.osso-abook/db: permission denied



soo.. does anyone have any idea how to fix that?

while searching the phone, i found out that adressbook.db exists- 12kb big, in another folder there are all the avatars of my now lost contacts;..

Id be very grateful for any helpful answer!
