MeeGo 1.2 release postponed for a month
 

Just checked release schedule page of MeeGo. It seems that 1.2 will be released at 2011-05-25!

i dont think it will ever be realised..they are just playing with us....

Good! means it won't be rushed, a bad rep for meego is the least they want from 1.2

I prefer to wait 1 month more but only I hope that the version will be stable and fast

Its one month man and its not like this is the first OS to ever be delayed. Better a delay than a half baked OS

This was my reaction when the N900 itself was delayed. Not anymore, not sure if I'm happy with the outcome of that delay because it still lacked polish.

I thought Meego had a fixed release schedule - in the sense that as on a release date - whatever degree of polish it had would be released. The release cycle was supposed to be based on dates and not a degree of finish.

Si how come now its being delayed. As such there was no promise that the Meego 1.2 release was still consumer ready - so what does this delay mean ? Is it that after the delay the 1. release WILL be ready in some sense of consumer usefulness ?
