mplayer not playing vlc stream! Please help
 

I followed the steps at http://wiki.maemo.org/Vlc to setup a VLC stream and to receive it in N900. However mplayer exits:

Cache size set to 8192 KBytes
Cache fill: 0.42% (34842 bytes)


Exiting... (End of file)


Any idea? VLC stream is proper and I can see the localhost webinterface in my browser.

1) I created a VLC stream using HTTP as mentioned in http://wiki.maemo.org/Vlc.
2) I was able to view the stream using http://<ip_address>:8080 in my computer browser.
3)I try to receive the stream in N900 using mplayer
mplayer http://<ip_address>:8080 -cache 8192
Cache size set to 8192 KBytes
Cache fill: 0.42% (34842 bytes)


Exiting... (End of file)

4) I tried the same command in Ubuntu and see the same error. So its not related to Maemo, but would be glad if anybody can help.
