For those familiar with Symbian, WindowsOS, iOS, Android:

Which other phone can do what the n900 can:
- cisco VPN (via vpnc)
- ssh server
- TCP/IP over bluetooth (via ifconfig bnep0 up <IP Address>
- bluetooth tethering

I use this combo to connect to my company's computers via ssh using bluetooth on my laptop(I ssh to the n900 via bluetooth IP address).
Wi-fi tethering is a nonstarter as it drains too much battery.

What other phones can do this?

AFAIK all mobile platforms you listed could do all these.

N900 is however the best suiter as it can running all of above with simple scripts that consume minimum power.

Isn't bluetooth completely locked down on ios? You can only use it with ad2p or though Apple approved APIs.

I seriously doubt that you can run an SSH server on Symbian or Windows Mobile.

At least on Symbian there's no concept of a "shell", which would make SSH meaningless.

Probably your best bet would be a rooted Android. There's also a Debian chroot available for Android, which would give you lots of Linux-y thing but I don't think it's as easy as EasyDebian for Maemo.
