Help remove Kernel
Hi,
I installed only nitdroid installer to install nitdroid ( I stoped the project because I was forgotten that I din't want to flash the n900) so, thats the only thing there was on the n900 Then I discoverd multiboot was installed. I removed it with this steps: sudo gainroot apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel kernel-flasher 5. if it finishes successfully (with "SIGTERM received" and "Image flashed successfully" messages) then you can continue with apt-get remove -y kernel-power kernel-power-modules 6. after successful deinstallation the command: ls -l /lib/modules/current should show: ... /lib/modules/current -> 2.6.28-omap1 It showed 2.6.28-omap1:D but when I look in Ham I see this 2 package: Maemo 5 PR1.2 kernel for multiboot Enhanced boot loader for maemo How can I remove these? I'm Running PR1.3 with CSSU Thanks |
Re: Help remove Kernel
these are left over items , just remove them from the application manager , then reinstall kernel-power before rebooting , or just reboot and if your n900 fails to boot just extract the kernel image from the fiasco image or from power-kernel .deb , and flash that using flasher-3.5 .
