[Fixed]gstreamer0.10-av breaks phonon playback
As per title applications using phonon/gstreamer have choppy playback since the release of this package. This is pulled in via ogg-support if I remember correctly. I couldn't find a bug tracker for this package and it might be good to have here anyway.
To get phonon working again Code:
apt-get remove gstreamer0.10-av Code:
apt-get install gstreamer0.10-vorbis # and maybe more |

gstreamer0.10-av_0.5-2 resolves the problem. One should be able to safely upgrade ogg-support.

BTW, great work on this. Ogg cpu usage seems to be reduced significantly.

Re: [Fixed]gstreamer0.10-av breaks phonon playback
You're not testing it with power kernel v47, right? I have choppy playback since then. I have that package installed, so in that case it seems not to be the solution. I'm reinstalling ogg-support, beacuse I think I installed this before power kernel v47. Just to check wether it does something or not.

I have CSSU in the latest version (14.1, I think) and pali's power-kernel v47 installed.
Removing and then installing ogg-support 1.7rc (extras-devel) worked for me. |
