MouthPot for Maemo Nokia N900 and all Symbian Touch phones (N8,E6,C7,5800,5230,N97,X6 etc) is now free for a limited time, have fun ! :)

Thank you for the information. It works VERY well on my N8. I haven't tested it on my N900 though. My 4th grade class was very impressed. It is better than the original one and I'm guessing this one has been redone in QT, thus allowing better animations.

Yes it is a Qt app so it works on both Symbian and Maemo but some stuff needs to be implemented using the native OS API in order to make the app fluid. Eg Qt Audio classes introduce too much latency making the app unresponsive etc, lots of work and headaches :)

If someone makes a cool video using MouthPot with people or animals talking please post it on youtube and post the link here so we will link the video back.
For the iphone there are several similar "mouth" apps and lots of funny videos. For Symbian and Maemo almost nothing, so fire up up your cameras and show that Nokia phones can do it better :)

Interesting. When I go to the OVI store it tells me to update my OS.

Do u have hide user agent installed?? Its cause of that..unistall that... and u will be able to access the Ovi store

would be nice if the app record the voice and change it into cartoon voice or something. Hit the play back and laugh but this pretty useless
