MyDocs needs formating!
 

When i connect my n900 to the computer it asks me to format the drive first, but the device can read it and write on it without any issues,any solution?

Just a thought: try this...
Follow the instructions on Post #3 of this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=72799

Also, make sure drivers for computer are installed, up to date and not corrupt.

thanks for your attention, i tried whats in that thread but no luck, the problem started when i tried installing ubuntu on the drive then it gave me an error "unable to mount...".
