media player problem
 
hai i got problem with my n900 media player the problem is that there are some audio and video files which i deleted from my device but media player still showing that file but when i click to play that file media player says file not found plz tell me how to remove that files from media player.

Try typing "tracker-processes -r" into the terminal
Not sure if you need to be root but it won't hurt to go.

media not supported ?
why media player shows sucha statement for some videos i want to play but just can not ?help would appreciated ..thanks in adv

because the media is not supported? Have you installed the extra codecs? If so, what type of media file is it - MPG, MP4, AVI, etc.?

most of them are flv files,though some are playing nicely with MP but most of them just are unable to play with,and yeah extra codecs done,work nice with KM player but dnt you think it should have been this MP?

first go into the menu and find Xterminal , open it .
and first type this command .
if this doesn't work then open a new terminal window and first type root and the put this command .
