Re: Urgent: I really need help

How accessible is the screw?

In this situation i would normally cut a groove into the screw with a fine hacksaw blade so that I can use a flat head screwdriver. But that depends on if you can get a hacksaw blade in there.

I’ve also successfully drilled the head off a screw (on my n800) but I’d only recommend that if you have a really fine drill. I was using an engraving machine with a drill bit on it.

if i understand correctly , one of the screws on the slider behind the lcd is ruined?

Well what i did was i got a pair of wirecutters and slowly but surely i managed to get the flat bit of the wirecutters under the head of the screw and i cut the screw with the wirecutters, and i left one hole without a screw and last i ordered some original n900 screws from net and i fixed it.

Get a reverse drill and drill it out... carefully! You need some skill to do that to not harm the fittings.
