how do you get your network 3G on when runing android!!!!
 

cant get my network 3G on when runing android!!! anyone know how i do this????? wifi works ok just cant get my 3G on!!!!!

try turn off pin code in maemo and then boot into android

You need to manually add the APN settings for NITDroid.

There ought to be software that won't let people use more than one ! or ? in a row. And it should allow !?!? type marks either. And PLZ should be treated as a dirty word, as in plz help -- I don't think that's in this thread.

Go to --- Settings, Wireless Networks, Mobile APN's at the bottom or whatever

Press the lock key, choose new

Add the name, APN address, proxy number and port, DON'T add the username and password as this won't allow it to connect

Press back, check both boxes over Data Enabled and Roaming

DON'T go on anything regarding the internet despite the white 3g in the status bar

reboot the phone, this is essential and all will be working!
