Preenv key mapping scripts for Gamegripper (German keyboard layout)
 

The problem

The keys of the german and other keyboard layouts are different. The bad thing about this is that the keys has different numbers in gconf so the mappings for gamegripper only fits one layout. In this thread I will try to make the mappings for the german layout available. Maybe some one develops a nice program, so that you can map your keys by yourself. So choose a game, define your keys. Would not be too hard to do this.

• Preenv version 0.1.7 (latest)

  • Download from extras-devel
• Patched libsdlpre.so from jflatt
  • http://members.cox.net/jflatt/libsdlpre.so
  • Installation instructions
• GameGripper
  • Buy in the EU
  • Buy it outside EU
• WebOS games
  • Games compatibility

Using the scripts

1. Become root
   • $ sudo gainroot
2. Run it
   • # sh script.sh

I will try to keep this list updated. But I can only upload scripts for games that I am able to test so don't expect a script for "Hello Kitty World". ;)
