non-SDHC cards with the new firmware
The new firmware release notes say that >2GB cards must support SDHC.
Months ago, I purchased two 4GB non-SDHC cards that work perfectly in my N800. All 4GB is visible. If I upgrade to the newest firmware, will these cards cease to be readable because they're >2GB and are non-SDHC? Thanks, Chris |
Re: non-SDHC cards with the new firmware

Re: non-SDHC cards with the new firmware
It was said in another thread that the older 4GB non-SDHC cards that worked before do work fine...

Re: non-SDHC cards with the new firmware
Does anybody have one of those 4GB MobyMemory cards (http://www.mobymemory.com/proddetail...Y%5F4096%5F001) and tested it with the new firmware?

Re: non-SDHC cards with the new firmware
I have 2GB SD card and a little problem with it.
- I can't delete directories from filemanager - I can't delete dirs from terminal using "rm -rf" All it says is 'read only filesystem' :( I've tried also formatting it from filemanager's menu (and it seems it goes ok) but when i open card, everything is still there. I've also tried to mount card on my desktop computer - iMac G5 - but it doesn't mount. Is there anything else I can do, or should I just go and buy new card? Thanks. |

Is N800 killing more cards than other devices? Maybe. We dont't know if its only a software problem or if the hardware is also concerned. Or maybe (el cheapo) memory cards are just weak nowadays. |
