I'll be drowned by melting icecaps before I give that fraudster Gore a meme of attention.

Fraudster?

Granted, he was a politician (ugh), but I definitely admire him for at least taking a strong, proactive stance and sticking to it in the face of some really idiotic opposition. That rational stance has been bolstered increasingly day by day.

Anyway, I haven't tried to stream the concert, sorry.

To me Gore himself lost all credibility when his private power consumption was published.
85% of worldwide pollution comes from 2 countries. Do something about that before telling me to change my bulbs.
Besides that, the concert has very poor coverage. I can only find 1 channel on my telly that shows something. And I like Formula one and Tour the France more.

"85% of the world's polution comes from 2 countries"

Actually, there are no countries, only a bunch of people.

I think this is a big enough problem that if we start fighting about who fights pollution first, nothing will be improved. We are lucky in that all of us can take small maybe meaningless and symbolic steps that will make us feel a bit better, and we can push for bigger steps. It is not in anyone's interest for things to continue as they have been going.

everyone finds a reason to piss on someone rather than make change. "Oh he's this. oh he's that, so I'm no going to do anything." Real mature.

Amen. Same goes for focusing on personalities. While there may be some dissonance between Gore's walk and talk, I see that he rebutted the accusations of wasteful living (although I remain a little cynical) and at least he's pushing the agenda of energy conservation and alternatives, instead of stubbornly clinging to a tired old status quo that grows increasingly irrelevant. And while we can't live lilke there's no tomorrow, and leave our children a polluted and depleted legacy, it's rather inane to expect us to live as Luddites at this point. A little practicality and common sense goes a long, long way.

Closer to actual topic, I'm glad to see the Live Earth activities, in spite of the energy consumption that the disingenuous critics harp on. Streaming the events to mobile devices makes a lot of sense, too-- they consume less energy than their traditional "equivalents". ;)

Sooo... anyone gotten it to work?

Actually, I didn't say I did nothing. I meant that Gore should look at his own country first before telling others what to do.
Back to me, I Iive in a environment friendly house, use energy conserving lighting and use so called 'green power'. Even my insurance is 'green'. But that wasn't my point. Read again.

Sorry, testerj, we got a little carried away.
On topic: no, I could not get it to stream.

But the question here is, can you stream live tv on the N800. I guess it could be done by streaming tv on your local lan from a pc with a tv card, but it's a lot of hassle.
